Service 07 of 12
Ad spend judged byprofit per order, nota ROAS screenshot.
A 4× return on ad spend can still lose money on low-margin products, and a 2× can be excellent on high-margin ones. We run Google Shopping, Performance Max and Meta campaigns around what each product actually contributes after cost of goods, shipping and ad spend.
What it is
What this service covers
Ecommerce PPC covers the paid channels where people shop: Google Shopping and Performance Max, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for prospecting and retargeting, and search campaigns for high-intent product queries.
The product feed is the foundation. Titles, product types, GTINs and attributes decide which searches your products appear for, and most feeds leave a lot on the table. Merchant Center disapprovals silently remove products from auctions altogether.
From there we structure campaigns by margin tier, keep brand and non-brand spend separate so Performance Max can't take credit for customers who were already looking for you, and report profit by product.
Who it's for
A good fit if you're…
- Online stores spending on Google or Meta without product-level profit reporting
- Brands with large catalogs where a few products carry the account
- Stores whose Performance Max spend is drifting onto branded searches
- Brands preparing for peak season who need a clean account first
Process
How the work runs
Feed and tracking audit
Merchant Center diagnostics, title and attribute quality, GTIN coverage, and server-side or enhanced conversion tracking so the platforms receive accurate revenue data.
Margin-tiered structure
Products grouped by contribution margin and sales velocity (heroes, long tail, clearance) with targets set per tier rather than one blended ROAS.
Creative and audience testing
For Meta, a structured test plan for hooks, formats and offers, with briefs your team or ours can shoot.
Weekly tuning, monthly margin report
Search-term and placement exclusions, budget moves between tiers, and a monthly report of profit by product and channel.

FAQ
Questions owners ask us
Why not just optimize for ROAS?
ROAS ignores what each product costs you to make and ship. Optimizing to contribution margin puts budget behind the products that actually make money, which is often a different list from the ones with the prettiest ROAS.
Which platforms do you work with?
Google Ads (Shopping, Performance Max and Search) and Meta. We work with Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce stores. Other platforms work too, as long as we can get a clean product feed and purchase tracking.
Do you manage Amazon ads?
No. We focus on driving customers to the store you own, where you keep the margin and the customer relationship.
