Service 05 of 12
Your website keepsworking while you runthe business.
Websites don't stay finished. Plugins go out of date, forms quietly stop sending, SSL certificates expire, and a site that loaded in two seconds at launch creeps to six. Maintenance is the unglamorous work that keeps your site fast, secure and producing leads.
What it is
What this service covers
Most small-business websites run on WordPress or a similar platform with dozens of moving parts. Each update fixes something and can break something else, which is why many owners stop updating. That's how sites get hacked.
We run updates on a staging copy first, test the pages and forms that matter, then push to the live site. Around that we monitor uptime, scan for malware, keep daily off-site backups and check page speed every month.
Every plan also includes time for content edits: new staff bios, updated pricing, a seasonal promotion, a new service page. You send the request and it's done without a separate quote.
Who it's for
A good fit if you're…
- Businesses running WordPress without a developer on staff
- Owners whose site was hacked, went down or lost its forms
- Companies that need small content changes made quickly
- Anyone whose site we built, or didn't build, that needs a steady hand
Process
How the work runs
Onboarding audit
We inventory plugins, themes, PHP version, hosting, backups and security, then fix anything urgent before the first update cycle.
Staged monthly updates
Core, theme and plugin updates applied on staging, tested on key pages and forms, then deployed to the live site.
Continuous monitoring
Uptime checks every few minutes, malware scanning, firewall rules, SSL and domain expiry tracking. We hear about problems before your customers do.
Monthly report
What was updated, what was fixed, uptime, speed scores and the content edits completed.

FAQ
Questions owners ask us
Can you maintain a site you didn't build?
Yes. Onboarding starts with an audit, so we know what we're inheriting. If we find something fragile, like an abandoned plugin or outdated PHP, we'll explain the risk and the fix.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
We restore from a clean backup, find and close the entry point, and tighten security so it doesn't happen again. On an active plan, cleanup is part of the service.
What counts as a content edit?
Text and image changes, new blog posts or staff bios, swapping a promotion, adding a page from an existing template. New features or new page designs are quoted separately.
